You may speak with a zoning officer Monday-Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM in person, phone call or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. All zoning officers have public hours throughout the day. Please note that you will be directed to the zoning officer that is on duty at the time that you visit the office/or call. If you have specific questions concerning a denial please request the zoning officer that denied your application.

A Zoning Permit is required for anything that also requires a Building Permit, but is also required for the construction of any impervious surfaces such as driveways or patios, or decks, sheds or any accessory structure and fences.
You can check the status of your permit by logging onto the SDL Portal. You can check the status by searching by your zoning permit application number.
Zoning reviews can take up to 10 business days for an initial approval or denial. Applicants may resubmit at no additional expense if denied. Once an application is resubmitted the time clock restarts and it can take an additional 10 days for an approval or denial.
