The Toms River Township beach badge is for Ortley Beach on the ocean and Shelter Cove on the bay. The badge does not include beaches in other towns such as Seaside Heights or Lavalette.
Badges can be purchased at a discount rate beginning on April 3rd and ending the Monday of Memorial Day weekend each year. Badges can be purchased at the Recreation Administration Office, the Toms River Senior Center on Garfield Avenue, and at the beach during the season.

Toms River Township residents ages 62 and over may obtain a Senior Identification/Beach pass by presenting proof of age. The photo identification provides lifetime access to Township beaches; a one time processing fee of $15 is required.

Take Fischer Boulevard to the traffic light at Yellowbank Road Head east on Yellowbank Road 3 blocks. Turn left onto Warren Point Road. The office is about 1/8th of a mile down the road on the right-hand side. Access online directions to our office.
