How do I file an Open Public Records Act request form, and are there fees involved?

Open Public Records Act requests are now done online using GovQA. You may also submit your request in writing to the Clerk’s Office. Requests are addressed within seven business days unless extended with consent of applicant. Price information varies based upon requirements of the request. Applicant will be notified of total cost once request is complete.

A Parade Application must be submitted to the Clerk’s Office. The applicant must also include:

  • A map outlining the route to be used during the parade.
  • A Hold Harmless Agreement
  • (2) Certificate of Insurance one listing Ocean County, 129 Hooper Avenue, Toms River, NJ 08753, as additionally insured and the other listing Township of Toms River, 33 Washington Street, Toms River, NJ 08753, as additionally insured.
  • A traffic safety plan outlining all safety precautions.
