About
The Township of Toms River Board of Health is comprised of 7 volunteer members. The Board of Health works to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public. Board of Health ordinances are included in the Toms River Township Municipal Code. They hold quarterly meetings, unless otherwise noted.

The Board of Health regulates work done in the municipal Health Department, including a variety of licenses, such as:

- Mobile vending food licenses
