What to Recycle Curbside
The following can all be placed together in the same container:
- All food container cans (aluminum/steel/tin)
- All glass containers (green/brown/clear)
- Pourable plastic bottles including drink containers, lotions, shampoos, and household cleaners and empty non-toxic aerosol cans
- All paper and corrugated cardboard (includes newspapers, junk mail and magazines, brown bags, and mixed paper)
Recycling materials cannot be tied, bagged or bundled in any way. Please- NO PLASTIC BAGS!
Lawn Waste
- Leaves (during collection periods in spring and fall, in plastic bags)
- Brush/Tree Trimmings (during collection periods in spring and fall)
What Not to Recycle (Dispose with Garbage)
- Auto Glass Headlights
- Blue Glass, Crystal
- Carbon Paper
- Ceramics or China
- Cereal Boxes
- Hard Book Covers (Inside Pages Are Recycled)
- Household Batteries
- Medical Supplies
- Microwavable Containers
- Plate/Window Glass
- Saran Wrap
- Styrofoam Cups, Plates, Trays
