FEMA has advised that financial reimbursement may be available to the Township through the County’s debris removal program for removal of debris or sand that ended up on commercial property after the storm, under some very strict and limited guidelines. The Township has received a packet of information and documents for this program and will be posting those documents on our website. We have advised the County of our desire to participate in the program as well. The first step will be for property owners to obtain a letter of denial from their insurance carrier and to forward that letter to our office along with a copy of their insurance policy. If you are interested in participating, please get this information together as soon as possible and drop it off to the Business Administrator’s office either personally or through email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
