IN THE CLUBHOUSE…
The month of September not only brings ideal golf weather and favorable course conditions,  but also great value.   Twilight hours move from 3:00PM to 2:00 PM, which means Resident green fees at that time are $12 and Nonresident fees are $22.00.  In addition, all other green fees are discounted $1.00 and mandatory carts on weekend mornings are no longer in effect.   The pro shop now features many new items including Titleist golf bags and a new line of clothing.  Finally, as the pressure of the busy summer seasons eases, tee times become easier to secure through our new Tee-time reservation system by logging on to http://beylea.chelseareservations.com.

ON THE COURSE…
As September arrives the weather brings much more favorable turf conditions.  September is perhaps the best month to play golf in New Jersey.  For this reason course management waits until the end of the month to aerate.  The dates for aeration are September 26, 27, and 28.  During this process we will close the course so that we can get all the necessary work done in a timely fashion.  The course will reopen, weather permitting, on Thursday the 29th.
On the course we have many red and white stakes to direct carts away from greens and other areas.   We are asking that you keep your cart outside these markers at all times.  This will ensure better conditions around the greens for chipping or pitching.   Because we are such a busy year-round golf course, it is very important that all golfers fix their ball marks.   We thank you in advance for your cooperation.  Together we can continue to provide favorable turf conditions throughout the year.
