Gov. Chris Christie stopped by for a visit in our town today, just as the State begins doling out funds for Business grants. The Governor and Mayor Tom Kelaher appeared at Rossi’s Rent-A-Rama in Ortley to acknowledge owner Diana Ruggiero in her award for a “Stronger NJ” Business Grant of $50,000. Grants are not loans, and therefore, do not need to be paid back.
Small and large business owners can apply for funding. Details regarding "Stronger NJ" Business Grants can be found on our website. Mayor Kelaher encourages all businesses affected by Superstorm Sandy to apply. Owners can contact the Mayor's office if they have trouble filling out the forms, or they can contact the State directly at 1-855-SANDY BZ or the link here: http://application.njeda.com/strongernjbusiness/
