Mayor Kelaher Receives Honorary Doctorate Degree from GCU PDF Print E-mail

Toms River Mayor Thomas F. Kelaher received a Doctor of Public Service Honorary Degree at Georgian Court University’s 2014 commencement ceremony for graduate students on May 21, 2014.

Georgian Court University President, Sister Rosemary Jeffries, bestowed the honorary doctorate upon Mayor Kelaher and noted his decades-long track record as a Marine, Ocean County Prosecutor, and as an active member of various hospital, health and community boards. The degree was presented to Kelaher by long-time friend and retired New Jersey Superior Court Judge Eugene Serpentelli.
